Barbizon Grads for Beth Minardi Hair Coloring

Barbizon graduates Madison Mills and Reagan Reeves had the pleasure of working with renowned hair colorist Beth Minardi.  The hair color class was at the Ballantyne Resort in Charlotte on September 20th.  Ms. Minardi has been in the business for over 26 years.  She started her career at Clairol and developed two lines of professional hair color.  She was a consultant for Redken products for 5 years. She has her own salon in New York City as well as her own product line. Minardi has worked with many celebrities such as Cameron Diaz, Brad Pitt, Julianne Moore, Evan Rachel Wood, Edie Falco, Rene Russo and more. 

Barbizon Grads Strut in New York Fashion Week

ICE Models Brandi Eargle, Madison Mills, Shandria Brooks, Ashley Loehr, Krysta Mouncer, Alex Angel, and Elizabeth Sibley on the red carpet in New York with designer Luis Machicao after he displayed his newest collection on the Fashion Week runway.

Meet our models!

Alex Angel: 

Barbizon graduate Alex Angel attended Northwestern High School in Rock Hill.  She has been modeling for over 4 years. She attended IMTA in New York in 2008.  Alex has been doing runway shows for Luis Machicao since 2007.  Alex now attends Savannah College if Arts and Design and plays on their Volleyball team.

Ashley Loehr:

Ashley is the most seasoned model of this group.  With 10 years experience, Ashley has done over 50 runway shows.  Ashley has modeled in NY and Milan- where she did showroom work for Balenciaga.  She has been in a commercial for Belk. Ashley has been featured in Uptown Magazine, Klazzy Magazine and Elevate Magazine. She is originally from Rockingham, NC and is a full time nurse at First Health of the Carolinas in Pinehurst.

Brandy Eargle:

Barbizon graduate Brandy is one of the more recent ICE models. She attended IMTA in LA in January. SHe has done a photo shoot for Luis Machicao and Christine Szeredy. Brandy has walked in shows for Luis Machicao, Jonathan Kayne, of Project Runway Season 3, and Roc the Fashion event. Brandy attends Chapin High School in South Carolina.

Elizabeth Sibley:

Barbizon graduate Elizabeth has walked in numerous shows for Luis Machicao. She has also participated in other runway shows, including Charlotte, NC Fashion week, Pilger Designs and New York Bride.  Elizabeth has shot with renowned Miami photographer, Jose Amigo. Elizabeth is a Freshman at Belmont Abbey College, majoring in English.

Krysta M:

Krysta is a Junior at Weddington High School in Union County. She has walked the runway for True Religion Jeans, Pilger Designs, Lore Emilio, Charlotte NC Fashion Week, Rain Anthology and more.  She has worked at the Atlanta Apparel Mart, shot for Uptown, Elevate and Noi.se Magazine and was Luis Machicaos fit model. She is featured on Luis Machicao's website, print work and closed his show at the Waldorf Astoria during NY Couture Fashion Week.  Krysta is also signed with Factor Models in Atlanta.

Madison Mills:

Barbizon graduate Madison was hand selected to be the finale model for NY Couture Fashion week. Maddison is local to the Charlotte area, and is a Junior at Audrey Kell High School. Madison has done numerous photo shoots and runway shows in the past couple of years, including: Uptown Magazine, Charlotte NC Fashion Week, Bedazzled Bridal and Formal Wear, Beth Pilger and Rain Anthology runway shows, and is the fit model for Pixton Couture Wedding Gowns.  Maddie will be traveling to NY again in October to showcase Pixton Couture at the NY Bridal Expo.

Shandria Brooks:

Barbizon graduate Shandria is a Senior at Olympic High School in Charlotte. She has been modeling for over 4 years. Shandria has walked for Pixton Couture, Luis Machicao, Flow by Tara Davis, Bedazzled Bridal and Formal Wear and Jay Carroll, Winner of Project Runway Season 1. Shandria will also be returning to NYC next month to show Pixton Couture Designs.

Barbizon Toronto Graduates for Complections International

This past August , nine Barbizon graduates did a shoot with Complections International Makeup School.

Gabriela Mirkovik, Hayley Schwenker, Isabelle Simon, Jessica Ackerman, Krystal Kennedy, Janelle Desserault, Hillary Webster, Kimberly Woollett, Bethanie Ho, and Kaity McLaughlin.

Danielle Jackson in Tokyo

Barbizon Toronto graduate Danielle Jackson, who is currently modeling with World Top in Tokyo, just did a gorgeous test shoot. She is going on about 3-7 castings a day in Tokyo and having an amazing time! She will also be attending IMTA this upcoming January.  Congratulations Danielle!

Helina Shebeshe for David Dixon's Fashion Show

 

Barbizon Toronto graduate and instructor Helina Shebeshe walked in the David Dixon show at the event 'Wear it Loud'.  This amazing event happened at This Is London night club to raise money for Plan Canada's Because I am a Girl campaign. The event was hosted by Rick Campanelli, host of Entertainment Tonight Canada, and had a fashion show of the latest 'Barbie' collection from David Dixon, and performances by Anna Cyzon and Candy Coated Killahz. The event was sold out with many of Toronto's biggest names in fashion attending.

Barbizon Toronto Grad on The Bachelor

Barbizon Toronto graduate Jessie Sulidis has been spotted on The Bachelor Season 14!

Jessie took Barbizon in Toronto in 2000 and was also cast to appear on ABC's 'Bachelor Pad' the show is airing on ABC right now. Unfortunately she has been elimated already but here is a link to the show's website, you can see info and pics of her on it still.
